Mr. Marly is a free community map for stray cats. By using it you agree to these terms.
The map
Everything on the map comes from the community. It can be incomplete or out of date, so a cat may not be where the map says, and a bowl marked as topped up may be empty by now. The map is not an emergency service: if a cat is hurt or sick, contact a vet or your local animal welfare service.
Your account
You need an email address to add cats, update food and water, or comment. Keep your email account safe, since anyone who can read it can sign in as you. One account per person.
What you post
- Only add cats that live outdoors, and only post what you believe is true.
- Be kind. No insults, hate, spam or advertising.
- Do not post photos of people's faces, number plates or the inside of private homes.
- Do not post anything illegal, or anything that could put animals or people at risk.
- Follow the local rules about feeding stray animals where you live.
Your photos
You keep the rights to your photos. By posting one, you confirm you took it or may share it, and you allow Mr. Marly to show it on mrmarly.com for as long as the cat is on the map.
Moderation
We may hide or delete any cat, photo or comment, and close accounts that break these terms.
Liability
Mr. Marly is free and provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or damage that comes from using the map or relying on what is on it.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we change the date at the top. Using the map after that means you accept the new terms.
